PetroChina Trillion-Dollar Mark
On November 5, 2007, PetroChina became the world’s first $1 trillion company on its first day of trading. The PetroChina IPO surpassed the 66.58 billion yuan (8.88 billion US dollars) achieved by China Shenhua Energy Company, the country’s largest coal producer, as reported by Reuters.
